Our castle near Carcassonne and Narbonne is yours during your stay in the heart of France's Languedoc Roussillon region. You can rent the castle entirely or just a part of it as guest rooms in order to enjoy the atmosphere of the chateau's rich history. The Château d'Agel is a magnificent medieval castle of which the oldest part dates from the 12th century onwards. It is composed of the main building, four towers, a dovecote, terraced gardens covering two hectares where you can wander peacefully or just relaxing close to the outdoor swimming pool. If you have in mind to visit our region with your family or friends, do hot hesitate and book our castel, you won't regret it !

Welcome to Château d'Agel close to Carcassonne and Narbonne, Languedoc Roussillon. Located in the center of Agel, our castle is surrounded by a Mediterranean park and can accommodate up to 13 people offering 800 sq.m. for a memorable stay in this beautiful castle decorated with antique furniture and outfitted with huge fireplaces. The ground floor includes a spacious entrance hall, 2 lounges, a library filled with ancient books, dining rooms, kitchen, lavoratories. On the first floor, lounge, 4 double bedrooms, 1 triple bedroom, bathrooms and on the second floor, 1 double bedroom and a bathroom. You can profit from the summer dining room in the orangery, terraces, private outdoor swimming pool, deckchairs, BBQ… Furthermore, you can hire the château d'Agel if you are planning a wedding or any other event.

You are close to the Canal du Midi where you can rent a boat and enjoy a nice stroll discovering the unspoilt, colourful nature of the landscapes from the water. Let yourself carried away… You can also see the Canal Bridge on the Orb at Béziers, the Fresquel Aqueduct in Carcassonne, fortified city since the Roman period which welcomes every year in July a theater festival in its antique theater built in 1908. Reach Narbonne close to the Spanish border and admire its downtown lined with boulevards, narrow streets and ancient buildings. The city has preserved its specific charisma, its nice fountains, lively pedestrian streets especially on market days where you can buy delicious local products.
