For your holidays in France, book our unusual and authentic comtoise farmhouse near Métabief and Pontarlier, Doubs, Franche Comté at Hauterive La Fresse very close to a cross-country ski slope overviewing fir-trees forest and mountain. Very quiet, in the hamlet of Le Mont d'Hauterive between Morteau and Pontarlier in the Doubs, our wooden framework farm overlooks at an altitude of 1000m ; it is fitted out with modern facilities in order to welcome you throughout the year for nice and peaceful holidays with your family or friends. When the mountain is covered with its beautiful white coat you can ski and contemplation adepts will let them carried away, simply discovering unspoilt valleys, forests, lakes and rivers and beautiful landscapes by foot, bicycle or horse.

Our unusual farmhouse in France close to Pontarlier and Métabief, Franche Comté can accommodate up to 6 people. It has two rooms totaling 2 double beds and 2 single beds, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, scullery with microwave, oven, fridge-freezer, a dining room with piano, lounge close to the "tuyé" farm with a beautiful fireplace, wood provided, TV, DVD player, relaxation seat, bathroom with bathtub and shower, separate toilets, garden, BBQ.

Near Pontarlier, our authentic and unusual comtoise farmhouse for rent: ski in La Perdrix, La Malmaison and Métabief with 26 ski slopes benefitting from an unobstructed view guaranteed on the Alps Chain. You will enjoy miles of continuous Alpine skiing, snowpark for riders, trail boardercross and 270 kilometers of cross country skiing, but also snowshoeing, dog sledding, horse-drawn carriage rides, quad, devalkart, paragliding, inaugural flight, hiking, golf, Saint Point Lake, the largest natural lake in the Jura.
In the Doubs, you will taste meat pork but also beef or bresi smoked in large chimneys called "tuyés" located in the main room of the farmhouse. During your stay by us, you will certainly enjoy the opportunity to savour excellent smoked hams, delicious Montbéliard and Morteau sausages, but also cheese such as Morbier, Cancoillotte, Mont d'Or, Vacherin, pochouse as well as river-fish with tarragon, garlic croutons served with white wine or local Jura wine, a Vuillafans, a Pontarlier-Anis, green aniseed-based alcohol distilled, appeared with the prohibition of absinthe.
